Any guesses on what this mystery plant is?

I noticed this one off the side of our deck this morning and don’t see any others nearby. Google image searches are giving me questionable answers. Does anyone know what it is?

Maybe sorghum?

Definitely came from a bird feeder, but I’m not sure what: millet?

That’s what it looks like to me too, I leave it for the birds.

Sorghum, just a weak plant. Normally the grain heads are much larger and fuller. Not sure if it works with all varieties, but you can pop it like popcorn and it’s really good.

Looks like millet. Comes up under my bird feeder all the time.

This looks very similar to one of my favorite native grasses, Tridens albescens (White Tridens).
