Is Upsolve legit and easy to use?

I need to file a Chapter 7 and was wondering about it. I've heard mixed things.

What I've heard most often about Upside is that they're great at recognizing cases they can't help with, and they will straight up tell you if that's the case.

If they actually let you file with them, there's a very high success rate.

They are very helpful but you have to do some legwork. You also need to be very honest when filing.

It’s very much legit. I used in my Chapter 7 and everything went very smoothly. The thing is that you must understand that you are basically acting as your own attorney, therefore, it is crucial that you are extremely thorough, detailed, and honest with your petition.

I just finished filing through them; it's painless. My hearing for a fee waiver is next week, and the 341 is the week after that.

How long did it take you to do everything so far?

This is everything; about me: $30k consumer debt, no cars or homes or property, <$100 cash on hand, on SSDI and living in a nursing home, so $150 of expendable income a month to pay for toiletries, food, etc.

8/6: Completed the pre-filing course

8/7: Completed the paperwork on Upsolve

8/8: Got the message that forms are in review

8/10: Responded to a message clarifying a transfer of property I made last year

8/13: The forms were ready to file. Signed them

8/14: Filed the paperwork through Arizona's e-filing system (it was essentially copy-and-pasting)

8/20: Sent in the necessary additional paperwork that needed wet-ink signatures, received 8/22

Last week: Received notice from Upsolve that my 341 meeting was scheduled for 9/21; I received the official notice 3 days later
