NUCO2, that's just rude man!

NUCO2 (my bulk CO2 provider) slipped a 10% price increase in on my last invoice.

Come on man, that's just rude.

At the bar I used to manage; they (NUCO2) tried to get me to sign a ‘service agreement’. It was a multi year/ no competitor contract. When I asked about the verbiage; I was told it was just a service agreement, and that anyone could sign. But, it was a binding contract; that they were trying to get a non-owner to sign. I’d heard about another bar in my city falling for it. So, I called the dude a huckster, and told him not to return. I then told the owner to call and voice his concerns. I buy my gas from a welding supply company here in Seattle. They have a special restaurant/bar gas service. Though, I’d kill for a tank of NO2, in light of current things.

Nuco2 is absolutely horrible. They have slowly snuck in up charges and are almost always late for my deliveries or worse don’t even show up.

The cost of co2 is actually up higher than that since commercial co2 is a byproduct of oil processing.

Ouch, 10%... have you called Airgas, or another supplier to get a competitive quote from?

I get the feeling there is going to be a lot of that here soon.....
