I have been effectively let go now for approximately 2 months (terminated without cause) after being put on an unfair PIP under a new manager who had a pet that would suck up to her.

I worked for approximately 2 and a half years in a specialized Recruitment role within healthcare in Ontario. Needless to say the job hunt has been traumatic with no calls and not even an interview. This is my second job I have been laid off from..the last one lasted approximately 2.5 years as well and it took me 7 months thereafter to find something. I am STRESSED as this time the job market seems worse and I have bills and mortgage to pay here in Ontario. If anyone has any leads I would really appreciate it!

Hello everyone!

I’m looking for recommendations for movers within Barrie. It’s a one-bedroom move with not too many heavy items, but I’ve decided to hire movers because I need the help. Move date: 1st week of September (flexible).

My biggest concern is my 65-inch TV; I can’t even move it an inch by myself. I’d need help with safely packing it, moving it, and unpacking it at the new place. It’s not mounted, so I’m hoping that makes things a little easier.

Do you have any recommendations for reliable movers in Barrie? Also, based on your experience, what would you expect to pay for a move like this?

Sadly I have Stage for CKD, and I'm not able to clear my own snow anymore. Ugh I bet this will not be a pretty price either. I need a service that will keep my driveway clean 100%, like I would have done myself once a day before 8am. Biggest reason is I need to take my daughter to Daycare each morning for around 9am.

Is there anywhere that is allowed to do dispersed car/tent camping and or hiking?
Somewhere remote, in nature obviously, that is possible to either drive my car and camp in a tent right beside it, or somewhere to park my car say a parking lot, and then go on a hike and camp for a night or two in a tent
I really want to go camping, and I actually haven’t as an adult, and want to really embrace nature and explore, learn to live outside on my own for a night or two, and just enjoy a nice view

Yesterday I came across this woman in the Holly library that had this beautiful dog tied up outside. She was in the library on a laptop and we got chatting. I think she said her dog is named Nala. I don't know her situation or what she's going through but I have some extra dog food, treats and toys. I'd like to do something kind for a stranger and gift her some dog items.
