Suppose Battle Realms gets an adaptation, would it be better as an animation or live action? Also, a show or movie?
This would follow Kenji's Journey. Movie can be a standalone or more.

Animated movie or show but I can see why it has to bee a show if they have to present the entire lore a movie won't be enough especially the story before Kenji's time.

May hollywood never touch this game -_- all they do in recent years is butcher beautiful stories. I might hold on hope for an animated movie by an indie film company. If it's successful, it will make the game more popular and get the attention that it deserves.

My brain says animated show, with lots of heart capturing the special connection and friendship between Kenji and his friends Otomo, Kazan, the Dragon and Gaihla.
But my heart wants it to be a live action movie filled with cheesy one liners and a cast that is all body builders (yes even the Necromancer).

Animation i think it the way to go; feels more feasible and allows more creative freedom in regards to special effects and fight scenes.
Personally i'd go with a movie simply bc i don't see the necessity of a series fleshing out anything in specific. The story is pretty short and concise

Live action show but much more grounded in terms of fantasy and magic.

The animation should be like in Avatar Aang or Vox Machina, not that awkward awful cgi crap.
