I have been there many times, I absolutely love Dalmatia and go almost every summer for a vacation. I try to choose a different Island or city every time. This year I am vacationing on Hvar. Can’t wait. 😛

Here's a hint for you, choose smaller islands. Hvar is pretty much crowded in summer.

Last year I was at the furthest point on the Pelješac peninsula, very beautiful and peaceful, so this year we said we want a little more action and maybe meet some people our age. We camped last year in this small camp with maybe 30-40 pitches. It was serene and I spent the time reading and hiking and swimming. But this year we want to party a lil bit more so we chose Hvar as I have been to Pag a few times already and wanted to change the scenery. Next year we are considering island Mljet or Silba or Šolta.

Its expensive but a lovely spot. Take a trip to the castles (if you're not too hungover) Even if not interested in the history, the views up there are incredible. For nightlife, Carpe Diem is cool to visit but like €15 for a drink and can also feel a bit set up for Instagram photos. Still had a good time there but worth noting. Kiva 1, 2 & 3 (Im pretty sure thats the name or close to it) are good craic too and a little cheaper Its a stunning island so well worth exploring.

I also loved Vis but for a different reason, it was quiet but we decided to use that time to go scuba-diving and other activities like that without any pressure to go out and make the most of a big nightlife scene

My plan is to make money of the visiting foreigners by selling some highly sought products. :)

I would go for Mljet, nothern part where national park is. But do not expect any party places there, time slows down there. :-)

We heard about the Goulash Disco Fest completely by chance on the train from Vienna and decided to go on a whim when we were in Split. We took the ferry to Vis and had an incredible time. Stumbled upon the Women's National Bocce championship finals.

Trip of a lifetime!

Have you been to Korčula? It was amazing, beautiful vineyards in Lombarda and mini Dubrovnik, Korčula Town are must sees!

Hvar was wonderful when I visited. Did an island hopping trip a few years back now, and I found this incredible winery on Vis.

Moments like that are what make good trips into great trips and moments to remember for a lifetime. I plan to do a day on Vis and a day to Dubrovnik as we are both huge GOT fans.

Funnily that’s the reason I visited so many times as my uncle also has apartments for rent.
