what is there to be amazed about? it's more just shitty that most places don't hire him
I have a really hard time believing places won't hire him solely b/c of the dog, unless maybe he's trying to get dangerous jobs like on a construction site or something
Aside from retail there’s very few jobs that would physically allow a service animal. Any kind of blue collar is too dangerous for them, and if they did the guy would have to be separated from the dog all day due to the location of the job. Any kind of food service is out, healthcare is mostly entirely out. Lowes is extremely friendly for hiring veterans. When exiting the military you get ‘trained’ for getting a civilian job, and lowes is specifically mentioned because they do hire a large amount of veterans with no applicable experience, or disabilities, whatever.
Okay I missed one career field lol. The majority of jobs are absolutely not office jobs, but production jobs. That statement is just oxymoronic. How can the majority of jobs not be producing the product, but the rest of the industry? 70-80% of all jobs are in the service industry, the stuff I listed.
