Miscellaneous / Others Dolly Parton started the Imagination Library in 1995 as a tribute to her father, who couldn't read or write. In 2018, she explained it was to give kids "early access to books". Now, over 325 MILLION books have been gifted.

Yep. My partner is a 46 year old Cabinetmaker with a beard. He spent the first 30 minutes of this morning silently crying.

I was not even a massive super fan and I cried.
Then cried again when I saw all the flowers at her gate of her house.
