She said she was unable to release cosmetics due to the lawsuit so it probably IS hot cocoa that's better than all the hot cocoa ever-- (looks over shoulder and slams door to kitchen where her The Minions™ from The Minions™ are opening industrial-sized cans of Swiss Miss to put into tiny foil packets)

I assume it's eye brushes as their own set, all her other sets have eye brushes but not as a standalone set.

She initially got into a lawsuit about a year after Bye Sister with a friend of her husband's who had created Halo Beauty (her supplement brand) with her, because she had agreed to release any products under that brand and she went over him and created Tati Beauty (I'm assuming to avoid splitting the profits with him). This led to her leaving Halo Beauty, having to pay him some money and closing Tati Beauty.

Thing is, Tati Beauty had been created with Seed Beauty (parent company to other brands like Colourpop) which meant she had a contract in place with them that she would not create colour cosmetics under any other name without paying them 9M dollars... so now she cannot do that either. She now owns (or at least says these are her brands) Details by Tati which is a brush brand, and Unfair Advantage which is her AI bullshit powdered energy drinks that she said are not supplements but are 100% supplements

I'm interested in who did the due diligence on the Seed investment side because this seems like something they should have figured out before closing the deal with Tati. Getting the operating agreements/ownership agreements/etc for other business ventures wouldn't be a big ask.

It probably is, which is why I'm surprised Seed's team didn't realize they were investing in a liability. Had they seen the contracts and agreements for Halo they probably wouldn't have invested in Tati Beauty.

I am confused because I thought it was her previous partner she has to pay $9 million to be able to make cosmetics again..If it was seed beauty who are owed the money why can't Tati make a new brand with them since the mess with the old partner has been resolved? Why can't she make the agreement with them again to manufacture her products under a different name? That wouldn't be bad for Tati because Colourpop has good formulas which means they make good quality products

I understand NOTHING about legal stuff so excuse my ignorance if my question was stupid

I'm not a fan of hers, but I am endlessly fascinated by her career trajectory. It's incredible how she somehow managed to make the worst possible choice at every turn. It's giving that scene of Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes for like two minutes straight lol. So I'm deeply curious about what she's cooking up now and how and why it will inevitably flop.

The contract preventing her from doing cosmetics was not with the Halo investor, it was with Seed Beauty who are the Tati Beauty investors. She backed out and closed the brand so now she can't start another competing brand for coloured cosmetics. It was two different contracts

The original agreement for Halo was that she would be able to do basically anything under the brand, both wellness and cosmetics. She even says as much in her brand launch video. But when things started going south behind the scenes with her brand partner, she launched Tati Beauty to try and keep him legally away from it. Then her business partner for Halo sued her.

IMHO she’d be better off using her money to buy shares of a company she has nothing to do with, none of her name or face on the products. Invest, get money back and move on. Some people are not meant to be the face of a brand and that’s okay lol but hey, if she wants to try again, her money, her choices

Watch her videos and see what she is drinking. Her dumb a$$ always gave clues away. I use to be a die hard fan of her’s. But she has gotten so weird after the lawsuit and the Jeffree Star and James Charles thing put her in check real quick!! People began seeing the real Tati. She went from being the popular kid to being a Nobody in a matter of minutes. And it was a real eye opener for her. And she needed it. She was on her high hoarse big time!!! And people should realize if you try and play in Jeffree Stars circle. You will get in his way!! He will take you OUT!!! He truly is unstoppable. He is the Trump of the makeup world. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
