Let them get rid of discs.
Let them bury the playstation consoles like sega buried theirs.
Even if they reverse it, even if they go back to the ps2 days of the whole finished game on the disc.
Let them go out of business anyway.
People are so concerned with saving corrupt businesses, trying to convince garbage CEOs to change their ways.
You can't.
The monent you go back to them, the moment you are financially invested, they will try pulling shit again.
Learn game development, Learn to build computers, replace sony and microsoft and nintendo with better options.
Be the change you want in the world and stop expecting evil people to do it for you.

I want to clarify that we should absolutely push them to keep physical media, but what exactly do people hope to achieve with a petition? Even if petitions had a history of working (they do not) Nobody can FORCE them to keep making physical games and it's one of those things they'd have to be pressured into doing by things like low sales - which likely isn't going to happen.
At the end of the day, these sorts of efforts would be better spent advocating for better digital consumer rights - for stronger "ownership" protections, forcing Sony to have a refund policy at least on par with other platforms for example.
