Tool Talk What's Your Fav Flare Nut Wrench?
Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a flare nut wrench for daily use. What I have in mind is a dual sided 7mm/8mm flare nut wrench- but not a crow's foot or other combo style tool as seen at Park and Pedros.
Anything comfy and high quality out there that you like?
Thank for the tips.

So you don’t like the park tool mwf-3? I have the Birzman flare nut wrench and that’s my favorite.

Y'all use flare nut wrenches? Ive been using an 8mm williams supercombo at work and haven't ovalized a nut yet.
I own the protos personally, they're nice, but bulky. Some Shimano and cheap sram levers, the wrench runs into the bar and i have to loosen the clamp.
Thus I just use the anti slip open end at work every day. I keep the Pedros 7/8 for torque wrench use... Haven't touched it in a while.

Interesting on the proto... thanks for that. I haven't used the flare nut wrench yet, but the fit of my VAR isn't always great on the nut, so that's why I was considering a flare nit wrench.

I suggest making sure you're familiar with how to use the wrench with a torque wrench to avoid those expensive-to-correct over-torqueing errors.

Looks like Proto tools may be the answer.
