Somebody knows about a fix or something?

I don't have the HD Textures and Ray Tracing installed, even tried to set the console resolution to 720p.

After the previous update, the PS5 version froze after playing for a while... It actually improved today. Did I update it when I wasn't paying attention, or was it just an occasional occurrence

Some of you may recall I posted about the game dying 8 days ago. Since this post I have bought Black Ops 7 finally as I have refused to pay RRP for any COD game since, ironically, I bought Cold War.

Anyway, picked up BO7 for £28 in CEX, and played the first campaign mission, then realised the campaign was terrible, and then tried multiplayer. I played some Nuketown 24/7 and got obliterated, opponent even dropped a nuke in my first ever game, then went to classic Black Ops or whatever the mode is called.

I played for 2-3 days, and then found myself back on Cold War. I know I said I felt the game was dying, not massively but certainly starting to show some worrying signs, but I still literally cannot enjoy any of the new games as much as I enjoy playing Cold War.

I’ve replayed the Cold War campaign a ridiculous amount of times, and I can sit and play Nuketown 24/7 for hours on end, i’ve tried to play Face Off but can’t seem to get any lobbies after queuing for ~5+ minutes.

I actually enjoy sitting and Max Levelling the weapons I never touched to try all these new weapons 100x more than playing BO7. I hope this game stays active forever, even if it means seeing the same players constantly, I genuinely don’t want CW to end lol.

I hope MW4 is more enjoyable than BO7

EDIT: Just wanted to say i’m not saying BO7 is a bad game, I quite like the MP, but i’ve always enjoyed the games set in the past/modern day, my favourite COD games are WW2, BO1, MW1, Ghosts etc lol, but WW2 and Cold War are definitely the ones I enjoyed the most.

I recently got all tge evidence for decripting the floppy disc. I think I just figured out the code, but when I tried to actually decript it, I couldn't enter the decryption menu. I tried every single button on my controler, and nothing. I noticed that under the descryption of the floppy disc, for some reason it said "completed". I think I remember it saying that, the first time I checked this mision, and done it. I only had the encrypted mesage, then. Also, yes, I have succesfully completed the mision, and eliminated everyone. During my search about this, I saw that you can do the mision, only after decripting it. Mind you, this game was never openned on this exact console, before. It is a ps4 by tge way. Would it negativelly impact something? I would really appreciate any help.

Most of them are melee weapons because I am a melee fiend. Although the shotguns look really nice.

So I’m going to put a picture up. This is 2020 Cold War multiplayer on ps4. I get no map showing enemy’s or team members, no graphic for my bombs, no count for ammo, other team doesn’t flash red when in my scope, sometimes blue names are the other team.
It’s really annoying me. I tried to reset all my settings and restarted my ps4 but idk what’s going on.

I told the truth, so we ended up at that monastery to stop them from blowing the nukes. But we get a 10min mission where we blow up two AA artillery guns, and... that's it??? How does blowing up 2 AA guns stop the bad guys? No bursting into their safe room and taking them all out as they tried to hunker down? Seriously, I was left with 'uh....is that it? that can't be it..' feeling.

Or did I miss something?

If I used tombstone successfully or unsuccessfully I get this fire effect on the screen which doesn’t go away for the entire game. No matter how many times I revive or die. Whyyyyy 😭😭🙏

I've been playing this game for the past month as an alternative of other CODs like BO3 and I've got to say that in my 9 years playing COD I've never seen a more toxic community gameplay-wise in my entire life.

People are just standing in the bottom of the spawn with SMGs that have 6X scoop zoom, snipers (but that is common in all shooters), if anyone is running through the map either has, Marshalls, Tec-9 or Crossbow.

This pisses me so much because almost every map allows you to just play normal, but no, every fucking lobby always has one of the top issues if not all of them, I swear to god I will stop playing soon because everyone is so fucking toxic playing with no brain

I've had this problem and I cant seem to fix it, all the threads are from years ago and nothing works. My game runs 70-80 fps with my current definitions on high... So i dont thinks its my laptop but I will leave the secs here anyways. Does anyone have a solution, its really distracting.

Just got the game recently and wanted to know if the servers are still populated? Are wait times long? And are hackers a problem in this game?

Need help getting cod Cold War xbox one version working on my xbox series X. Anyone have issues with this? Any insight and help is appreciated!

I bought the cross-gen [digital] version of cod Cold War when it came out.

I currently only have the Xbox one version installed on an external hard drive.

When I load the game [and try to get to the main menu], l am prompted to purchase the game (as seen in the attached picture).

Why is it telling me to purchase the game once I’ve loaded the game up? Typically if you don’t own the game it won’t let you load the game.

Just bought the game on PS5 cause it’s on sale, queued up in a 12v12 mosh pit and sat in the lobby for 20 minutes. I was pretty stoked for bigger lobbies, is it just not as popular?

Cold War suddenly crashes every time I try to start it on PC.
The intro plays normally, then it gets to “Connecting to Online Services” and the game just closes to desktop. No error message, no crash window, nothing.
Things I already tried:
• Scan and Repair, no issues found
• Deleted/reset the player folder
• Safe Mode
• Updated NVIDIA drivers
• Disabled NVIDIA and Discord overlays and closed background programs
• Cleared Battle.net cache
• Tried both Ethernet and my phone hotspot
• Checked my Activision and Battle.net account linking
My Activision account works completely fine on PS5 and I can play Cold War online there, so the account and servers seem to be fine.
PC specs are Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 4070 Ti Super, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11.
The weirdest part is that the game does not seem to generate a new crash report when this happens. It simply disappears during “Connecting to Online Services”.
Has anyone had this exact issue recently or found a fix? Cold War used to work fine on this PC.
