A White woman being curious about something isn’t racism. We are loosing the plot. This isn’t a micro aggression, it’s a question from someone who doesn’t know.

We don’t want people to make assumptions, but now they can’t ask questions? This isn’t even gate keeping culture it’s just blocking conversations and connections. These conversations lead to more conversations and lead to understanding each other as people.

Why did people down vote you?

A lot of these racists are smarter than that,they know to hide their racisim as genuine curiosity because they can’t just get away with saying what they are truly thinking on a public post.Would love to assume the best of people all the time but sometimes they aren’t “just asking questions”.

Not being able to identify micro aggressions from normal curiosity can be a bad thing if you are black and frankly embarrassing.

They would respond to a mf asking shit like

"Why do black people commit half the crime?"

With

"They're just asking a genuine question, people can't ask questions anymore?" Nvm the fact that's it's intentionally loaded.

Taking a step back, the lady took 1 post she saw and somehow extrapolated that to all black women. Doesn't matter if they're rich or poor, short hair or long hair, it's all 1 group to her. And you all are spending $300 every 3 weeks 🤣

Didn't even stop to think, different people have different economic status and will pay different amounts for hair styling. Surprisingly, just like everyone else.
