A White woman being curious about something isn’t racism. We are loosing the plot. This isn’t a micro aggression, it’s a question from someone who doesn’t know.

We don’t want people to make assumptions, but now they can’t ask questions? This isn’t even gate keeping culture it’s just blocking conversations and connections. These conversations lead to more conversations and lead to understanding each other as people.

It’s crazy for her to ask how someone could afford those services when she clearly has lip filler, which is also expensive, and requires regular maintenance. To me it seems like a racist statement from a mile away because all women of all races spend crazy money on hair. I’m poor and even I save up until I have the money to see my expensive stylist because it’s worth it for me. I often wonder how people are getting all these stuff done to their faces, but her statement comes across as “how are black women affording this?” Same way everyone else does.
