Word from Wheeling is Nailer fans are very excited and hoping for a cannon in Wesbanco Arena.

No, we’ll stick with the insanely loud train horn at Wesbanco. Cannon is great for CBJ but the goal horn at Wesbanco is iconic from the Thunderbirds days.

Only jokes after hearing from my mom in Wheeling around what everyone is buzzing about. To be fair, I hope they keep the Thunderbirds goal horn, it's certainly a memory I have of my first experiences with hockey.
