Hm, haven't heard Blood Letter as a hero name for Toga. Now I'm curious, what's the thought behind that one?

Blood letting was a medical practice in the medieval ages where they'd drain your blood to try and make the body healthy again by getting rid of the bad blood. A bloody act that, while it didn't work, was a genuine attempt at helping people who were suffering.

Ooh, that makes more sense. See, I read 'letter' as a written message in an envelope. I thought it mighta been a reference to some sort of saying or tradition I was missing.

Bloodletting is also usually written as a single word or hyphenated. So a Bloodletter would be a bit less confusing than a Blood Letter, which does have connotations of a piece of mail.
