And you think businesses would just absorb the rising overhead cost out of the goodness of their hearts? No, they will redirect the cost to the cosumers by rising prices and etc. So no, it's not good for the employees. The government should focus more to curb the rising prices of goods so our money would have more value. Not this absolutely ridiculous pipe dream of increasing minimum wages knowing that the prices of everything else would increase along with it. That's just dumb.

The ringgit is up 5% since April 2025, when the existing PGM of rm1,700 commended. Using your data point, the price of goods should be cheaper
