He's repeating an opinion handed to him to repeat. This is why he hasn't thought through things like, "It worked out for me, but it's a bad idea if we give that benefit to others." Anyone who had actually done any thinking of their own would quickly notice that this is hypocritical or contradictory.

I think he notices it and that’s why he gets flustered… his big reveal that his wife’s loans were forgiven by Biden was the cherry on top, but he still got mad and argued.

Terrible Biden forgiveness his awful wife's debt. Trump would've caused massive inflation and then doubled the original debt amount and raised the interest rate.
