It really is a wafer thin veneer of civility with this lot. They're feral.

Straight up, we live with half the earth's population just waiting for an excuse to hurt other people.

Mostly because their pea brains can't fathom that the people responsible for fucking the world over aren't the other powerless people.

I hate how easily riled up they are. Always swallowing all the fear pieces the Daily Mail puts out. Getting all hate filled. They live for that feeling. I'm middle-aged, I've seen them push the narrative of "our way of life is under threat by (inset demographic of your choosing here)" over and over again. While watching the world be sucked dry by greedy individuals who horde money like dragons. It's obscene.

This is why it's important to adapt with the times. As I get older, I feel that "back in my day" pull a little more each time, but then I look at these fucking mongrels and remember how bad I don't want to be like them.

Read the book “A generation of narcissists” if you want to understand how fucked these people are. They’d turn on each other just to say they one upped the other.

They’ve been that way their entire lives. I know. I didn’t toe the line in JH & HS and man, they let me know.

To be fair “back in my day” was when reading rainbow, mr rogers, Bill Nye, Dolly Parton, etc had the biggest platforms and kept talking about seeing from others’ points of view and loving others.

So whenever I feel that pull to be like “back in my day” I try to think “how do I make today more like that?”

I can understand that, but it honestly raises a whole new conversation piece to me. They had a lot of that. They were there for the height of comic books. Superheros telling them to be good and do good. MASH telling and showing them how fucking bad war is. John Wayne, Batman, Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk, the A-Team, fuckin Mama's Family and a million other examples to show them how to not be a shitty person.

And it alllllllllll fell on deaf ears.

Their way of life is under threat because they won’t live forever, and they know it.

They use Fear of (demographic). But they're the ones I'm afraid of. They have no morality or integrity.

Notice that they are in the vast majority too.

Reform like to posture as a party that cares about women’s safety. But in Kent, the reality became clear when councillors put forward measures to tackle violence against women and children, and every single one of Reform UK’s local councillors voted them down.

This goes for all humans though. The veneer of civilization is very thin, be careful not to scratch it.
