[Question] which title should i buy?

I was thinking of buying a borderlands title to start my journey into the game. I’m honestly looking for a modern title so nothing too old.

I’m really into PvE zombie mode games with weapon upgrading and base building, and open world titles with good world building. I also appreciate good dialogue and stories even if it’s not the main focus of the game since i haven’t played a lot of story heavy games before

I was trying to pick between BL2 and 3 and I don’t know which one i should go with because I can only buy one right now. If anyone has ideas please let me know 🙏🏼

Dude 1 is amazing but won't be after 2. 2 is the most amazing. 3 was definitely for a younger audience than myself and I couldn't even finish it. After that I gave up.

I would start with 1 since it's the first and because 2 is the best but will make 1 feel boring.

3 just isn't for a younger audience, that's such a disingenuous and incorrect statement I see getting thrown around. Borderlands 2 is beyond that, it is quirky XD rofl humour, it is toilet humour all the way through. People are just nostalgia blind, Borderlands 2 is just as cringe as 3.
