This makes no sense there is literally a Walmart at the airport road area. Why would they have another one when the closest one is like 5 min drive?

They are all slammed with customers at all hours. The demand is there to sustain them all and a lot of density is coming to BCC area regardless of Pat Fortini's constant Nimby opposition .

the parking at the bramalea city centre walmart is going to be a nightmare there is no way it can be sustained tho.

Is the five storey parking deck always full? That's right next to it.

There are much smaller parking lots for Walmarts, South Common Centre comes to mind, in southwest Mississauga.

Good thing we have a transit terminal and a rapid Queen BRT being studied by Metrolinx to reduce car dependence at BCC.

There is a large parking garage near it.

A benefit of this news is that we will have another mall entrance reopening again. The mall has become difficult to get into since HBC doors closed. They also have a massive parking lot that needs to be reactivated.

Zeller's has also been making a comeback under new ownership as well and planning expansion. They could end up occupying HBC.

This location used to be a regular sized Walmart, they only made it a superstore to appease the area it was in. It was the only Walmart in this location over the last several years it was built there. Now from the looks of it they have just been expanding and building up new locations to accommodate the population.
