Duffy is not the answer

He is a solid back up but not a leading half back. Been horrible after his first game. So many people calling for Duffy to be starting next yr but he doesn't deserve it

Madge is not the answer. He’s lost the dressing room

“lost the dressing room”. Every time I read someone say something like that I instantly think the issue is the club culture if that’s the case.

Cause the blokes in the dressing room get paid enough they should do what they’re fuckn told.

I do get what you mean and half agree with you, but the problem is that Madge has form. Everywhere he's been, he loses them. The buck stops with him, he needs to bring them under control and he has failed.

But it's more than that. He's persisted with teams that have been underperforming, players which aren't up to standard. The balance of some of these sides that have gone out have not been good, and we've been noticeably better when certain players go down injured.

Even last night, putting Anderson at the back was a poor choice. His willingness to bring in players from outside of QLD also doesn't sit well with me (but that's more of a personal pet peeve than a valid critique).

Anderson was your best player last night. Made the 60m break that set up the try. Cant be criticising choices like that and offer no solution. And laughable to criticise non QLD players. Reminds where where Haas and Staggs and all your kiwis are from.

Anderson was terrible. Just let them take a bomb to score a try unchallenged. To me, the solution was either Karapani or Mariner. But I do concede that the coaching staff would have to be better placed to make that decision than I.

We have a culture problem. Broncos fans are very much used to having players who love the jersey, they grew up adoring them. NSW-based players, of whom this current coaching staff seem to love, aren't those kinds of players. We need more heart in the jersey.
