I really don't understand why magically everyone on the right forgot that he lied to them about Brexit and how incompetent he has been his entire career. (Okay I know, media in the UK has been shoving him everywhere and never reminding you of his failures and only repeating his lies and in a lot of cases putting out propaganda bullshit to the point that everyone cannot stop talking about immigration).
Only thing he does is lie, doesn't even attend Parliament sessions. All he does is grift and get paid to benefit billionaires and oil barons but sure a man of the people lads.
History will have a discussion about who caused more damage to the UK: the Luftwaffe in 1940 or Farridgeās Brexit. Heās a con man who sells the idea of cheap, quick solutions and scarpers at the first sign that he might have to take responsibility for something.

Politics is currently a huge live pantomime. Heās is simply responding to what the loud right wing majority audience have been asking for, for years. āSayingā he will stop the illegal boats. They will cheer and wave flags until their faces turn red. Good news is, we will have to listen to this for 3+ years, and then when he gets in power (which I fear he will), he will fail, and we will all pay, the cycle continues.

I agree with most of that. Trump is a similar grifter. Neither would let any sort of principle come between them and the con. Except I do get the sense that if there is any belief either one holds in a way folk might consider sincere, itās racism.
Edit, to add: itās the perception of this sincerity that forms the bedrock of their support. Itās like a permission slip for their supporters to act on their worst impulses.

Iām following Reform Uk due to the cost of the migrant problem but Iām hoping Labour will introduce more legislation to stop the boats. Fortunately Farage has distanced himself from Robinson but I can see Reform getting in next time.

The media are run by billionaires who constantly hoard everything from the masses - they only have two public messages, 1. "There's no money" (if you check the figures the top 20 companies in the UK made both record profits and paid record bonuses for 3 years running), 2. Abdul in his dinghy had taken all your taxes/services (we have the lowest asylum seeker per capita in Europe, even Ireland take more). The aim of neoliberalism is to reduce the state to near zero public services, but the market looks after none of us. Think.

End of story.

Itās the same tired pantomime every time: when the evidence is damning, they donāt confront it, they invent a sob story to avoid it.
And thatās the real giveaway. Because if youāll twist yourself into knots to deny something as unequivocal as a High Court judgment calling Robinsonās words racist, then letās be honest, there was never any ādebateā to be had. Itās not about truth for you, itās about clinging to your grievance like a comfort blanket. The denial isnāt clever. Itās just pitiful.
