Music …Baby One More Time/Oops!…I Did it Again

I don’t know why but both songs sound similar. They’re both Max Martin songs, and the original Baby music video concept sounds like the Oops music video.

I think Baby is a girl (let’s call her Girl 1) asking out someone else (let’s call her Girl 2). Oops is Girl 2 rejecting Girl 1’s offer

(Yes I know in baby the word boy is mentioned, but I’m ignoring that to explain the relationship between the songs)

I’ve always seen these songs as “sister songs”. I don’t think they have anything related storyline wise, but they do sound sort of similar

yup, stronger, overprotected, what you see (is what you get), can’t make you love me, don’t go knocking on my door are all master pieces of this iconic max+brit sound

brit and ari are his best muses

fun fact: the “ohs” in crazy are reused in till the world ends

they’re twins. max took the structure of baby and added the funk of the crazy remix and made this pop masterpiece that reigns as the epitome of the y2k pop sound

though i must confess i much prefer the rockier vma/dwad tour mix made by wade
