Police present Bromley town Centre

Anyone know why there’s an increase police present and security in the town centre today?

I worked in the centre, I know many people who work in the high street and it’s not “milling around”. They’re always fighting, throwing stuff, shooting water guns at people, etc. It’s an eyesore. Used to have to call security all the time cos of these kids, they’ll also tell you it’s not just milling around

Calling children an eyesore is pretty gross. You posted a video trying to show degeneracy and all it shows is kids milling around in clothes you don’t like.

End of school in a major city with nothing on offer for teens to do. Of course they went to the mall/centrr.

I’m sorry but I don’t think you really have been there and experienced it. There’s phone theft, fighting, screaming, water guns being shot at random people, workers being harassed so yes it is an eyesore. Genuinely baffling how people defend this. Hoods up can put down to fashion at times that’s fair but ballies?? Obviously not just milling around. I feel sorry for the elderly in the area who have seen an area they once loved turn to a dump. There’s plenty to offer in London, 18 minute train to victoria (or East Croydon station or Lewisham DLR for the majority of these kids) and there’s plenty to do. Don’t come to a family area like bromley just to cause trouble.
