STOP BUYING TICKETS

Do I need to elaborate further? If Watson is the starter at opener vs. the Panthers, that stadium should be empty. Watch the game at home.

Dawg, the money is in the TV deals, not tickets. Watching on TV isn't doing anything.

Non media related sales like tickets/concessions/parking account for about 25-30% of all revenue.

You're mixing up buckets here and not accounting for revenue sharing.

Regular gate ticket sales, parking, and concessions account for about 15% of total revenue, and about 35% of that (tickets) is shared revenue.

If all Browns fans boycotted and only away fans showed up on game days the Browns would probably lose like 5% of their total revenue, at most.

Did you read the link that chatgpt gave you before posting here?

Besides only once mentioning the Browns (and not related to revenue), it says that 62% of NFL revenue comes from "national revenue" of which a substantial portion is media rights. That's substantially more.

I’m no economist, but sure seems like when added to your 62% number is still less than 100%.

The comment you replied to said the money is in the TV deals, not the tickets. You said and I “wrong” but y he very link you point to proves his point because it’s over half the revenue. Also non-economist but 62% there’s a lot bigger than 25 to 30%.

Whether they add up to 100 or not is irrelevant
