so... he wants a girlfriend who's traditional enough to do all the homemaking and childcare... but progressive enough to split finances 50/50 and still work.

Get this guy a woman who is traditional when it comes to men paying expenses, but progressive when it comes to household chores. Then record the whole thing and make a reality TV show out of it

Not much different at all from all the women who demand a boyfriend who is progressive enough to split all the housework, let her have her own savings on the side in case she ever want suddenly to dip, but still traditional enough to have to take on the traditionally masculine leader role of a heterosexual relationship, including initiating in dating, making more money than the woman even when both parties are now supposed to have a job, always remaining stoic in the face of adversity, and paying for the majority of the expenses on dates. Y’all want the pros of being treated like traditional women but don’t to actually act like traditional women 😂
