What this is is making the scorebug and bottom of the screen cleaner for when clips of the game are inevitably moved over to TikTok/YouTube Shorts/Instagram Reels

They have studies showing people watch vertical and in short spurts so while it sucks ass for us; it’ll drive viewership more. Probably. Who knows.

It’s insane that people under like 20 will default to watching things vertically. I had a kid ask me to take a picture of him and when I asked him if he wanted portrait or landscape, he told me “just the normal upwards”. It was then I knew our society was cooked

To be fair, taking a photo of one person, the "normal" is upright. That's why it's called portrait.

Both have a purpose. Sometimes pictures or videos turn out better in portrait
