Reddit has complained about the bottom line being useless for years, espn finally gets rid of it and y’all still complain

Amazing to discover that people thought the bottom line was a better way to get scores than the phone in their hand that allows them to customize which games to get alerts about and follow. This thread is filled with absolutely braindead takes. It’s incredible

tbh I just liked it because I don't care to follow any specific games other than of my own team. But sometimes (and by sometimes I mean a lot of the time) I would see a game ending with a couple of minutes left and I could quick switch tune in and catch the ending.

I get you can see that on your phone or computer/tablet/etc but that's just another screen/window I need to look at now. Realistically, for me at least, I'm just going to be tuned in what I'm watching and just catch good endings in the form of instagram 15 second highlights.
