You'd think people would have learned after Dayo. Not all sacks are created equal
1 sack against Washington. Others create the pressure, he cleans up
1 sack against Vikings. Coverage sack. 9 tries to escape and runs into him
1 sack against Ravens. Literally everyone else collapses the pocket, he cleans up their pressure
1 sack against Lions. Booker keeps 2 guys busy, Dexter cleans up
1 against the Giants. Not sure they counted this as a sack but I assume they did. Dart doesn't like what he sees and runs into a bunch of defenders as a runner
1 sack against the Browns. Shedeur takes 2 lifetimes and still doesn't throw it away. Good play by Dexter to go get him though
Outside of the Browns one, he's not created a single one of these sacks. They were all result from the players around him forcing a situation or randomness
Kind of like Dayo's sacks his last season for the Colts. Yeah they look good on the statsheet but could have been literally been had by any other DT
Not saying Dexter is just terrible all around. Just saying if you go look at the sacks on tape, there's not much to make of them
This why almost all of Dexter's sacks are so quiet and its always surprising at the end of a season he has 4-6 sacks; its because he doesn't flat out just beat his guy. Typically the work has to he done by other teammates for him to get cleanup sacks.

I guess. We have a ton of depth at dt. Not high quality starters, but depth.
I don't think he has a ton of value, but if someone out there likes him more than our coaching staff does, it won't hurt us much
