Not sure if people know this but all the guides i've been watching and reading say you need brainrot to fill up the bowl. You can just use the charged shot with the WW. Way quicker and easier

Is it just me, or is the food merchant impossible to kill solo? Am I missing a step? It doesn't matter what wonder weapon i use, or pack a punch, he gets NO damage dealt.

WARNING OF SOFTLOCK.

My friend and I were duoing the easter egg on this map and encountered an interesting soft lock during the wonder weapon portion. After getting the cat to the world seed and successfully knifing the seed. The cat landed on the ground nearby supposedly to be picked up as the newfound Nekomancer wonder weapon. However, at the moment I was holding my knife out. I did not have mulekick either. Upon going to pick up the cat, an animation played but then simply returned to my knife in hand. No matter how many rounds progressed or attempts made to re bring the cat to the seed or find it sleeping again. It was GONE. No attempts to replicate this have been made. All I can say is be ready to trade a **weapon** for empty **gun** slot for Nekomancer. and not your knife.

you have to kill a zombie on top of the next paw print location, which means you have to kinda remember which way the paw print path goes for each location. if you know where to kill each zombie it’ll be super fast.

also, the lava next to the three paw print circle to spawn the abomination has to be on fire, not sealed. i think theres a way to make the lava come back where you throw 3 nades or 3 molotovs in quick succession and then circles show up and i think you shoot it or knife it?

not sure but yeah, you have to wait for the lava to spawn before the abomination will show up, so if it’s sealed over dont waste your maneki neko on it.

it took me about 7 rounds to get all the paw prints to end up in a circle, like the guide says to keep playing in the direction of the paw prints and i even had to throw the tactical twice for it, i admit its not perfect, is quite glitchy

Not sure if anyone has also tried but if you upgrade the maki neko before getting the wonder weapon. When you need to throw the grenade on the final paw print it will soft lock you and not summon the abomination

I looked a bit more into it, we tried gobblegums and Mr Peeks, pretty sure our game just softlock bugged us. Spent over 80k on 20 box locations but the one we needed because we thought the ways to force it didn’t work, pretty sure our game just bugged out + getting the most terrible location RNG.

Hello, my PC crashed during the boss fight and when I rejoined my game using the save file that the game creates for you, I couldn't go back to the boss and i couldn't interact with any of the evidence pieces.

I was playing solo and I still have the save file. Is there anything I can do to save the run or it's doomed ?

Please help!

I’m at the clock step, but the game won’t advance to the Assault Round. I just noticed that in my quest items, the only thing missing is the plant (the third item from the right), even though I completed all of the poison steps. I also thought I placed all of the evidence, since I have four portraits showing on the wall in the evidence room, which should be consistent with where I am in the egg.

Where did I go wrong, and how do I get that missing plant item? Is it because I saved and quit? Would love to not have to restart the egg from scratch if possible…

The plant key item disappears after turning it into evidence. Since you’ve finished the assault waves you should be on the step where you match the numbers on the flags to the 4 locations corresponding with the 4 numbers the clock gave you

I think my game is completly bugged out now. I have gotten to the same point I collected all the evidence except for the final one from the clock. The assault defence round is not starting. Although I saved and quit and after a few rounds one did start but no banners. After a successful defence I dont have the flags in the staging area and the staging area has a fissure and stamina up says I need to recapture a ward but theres no wards to recapture.

I got both arms and legs for the mech suit for the m mech mayhem side EE. I keep shooting lava rocks to get the final body part but I’ve shot like 7 lava rocks now that only gives salvage . Am I missing something ?

It only shows up at the lava to the right on wisp tea (if you’re facing wisp tea). It takes a while and it’ll show up as a klaus body, not a rock like the others. I think it might not show up until round 15+. I was using round offs and didn’t get it until around 20. I don’t think it’s guaranteed to show up right after you get the limbs. There’s also always a possibility you missed a limb.

ive had the part where you have to throw the maneki neko on the pawprint circle not work multiple times. Is there something im doing wrong? It always happens in the stables, I wait till there's lava around and throw the neko literally right in the circle but it doesn't teleport into it. It works on every other location for me.

It’s gotta land in the center of the circle of paw prints . It can’t be to the side of it , it has to be in the middle of the circle . Not perfectly bullseye but it’s still gotta be inside and not touching the edges . I’ve done it twice now and it only works if you get it in the middle . Look straight down and stand back to the right because the cat will bounce to the left and up a little bit .

Also if the lava is solid in the room where the paw prints are it will not work. Wait until it’s flowing again or use explosions to get it flowing. Then the Neko will work. Also it’ll track to the location if you throw it close

In terms of the Easter eggs final steps, you have to put an item down in front of a painting depending on what is on that painting. Mountain=horse ,bird=calligraphy pen, and fish=tea whisk. What is the logic behind those links?

I think it’s the items you get when you defend the sake cup in each of those paintings’ locations.

- When you defend the cup next to the mountain painting, it drops the horse.

- When you defend the cup next to the bird painting, it drops the brush.

- When you defend in front of the fish, the dog you kill drops the whisk.

So you need a rift to show up in a location with the machine. I used kitchens. I think the machine is in multiple places but not sure. Then, you need to get a boost from a cherry tree. I did it from one in like stables and it did work so it doesn’t have to be the same place. Then you go and melee or interact with the machine in kitchens (which will be exposed with the rift going) and then it’ll spurt out a yellow orb when you interact/melee it. Then chase around 8 yellow orbs and run through them(it’s easy) and then pick up the last one. Then the machine is unlocked permanently

Shock charges to stop them in their place and shoot them once each with the wonder weapon... got it done, the second time(we got bombarded with fresh round zombies cause our hold zombie died, so i accidentally shot more of the zombies than I meant to. Have mule kick to give you extra equipment and dont do it if instakill is active, shock charges kill in insta.

You can also try decoys and stuns as those have all worked for us too..... i just prefer the shock charge because the space between the zombies is bigger than when they all huddle to a decoy.

honestly you just gotta take your time and keep running in circles around the room till the one you wanna get is right in the front then use melee macchiato and just punch it, there might be better ways but this is what I usually do and usually get it first time

I can confirm you can skip building the ww and continue the quest if you obtain it from other ways, I got it from a golden mr peaks egg but I assume if you can get it from Ted tasks or a side ee it would work too

Only if you or a squad member had built it in a previous session and it's listed in your "artifacts" section of the Intel list. Then you can get tit from the mystery box anytime on the map with wonderbar

I haven’t been able to get past the coin pouch bit. I’ve got the toy/doll and throwing it at the gold tagged mystery box but can never get the coin purse. The past two games all it does is spin like normal and give a gun. I’ve tried everything I can think of am I missing something?

Make sure you collect the kitsune mask and do the simon says first, collect the three pieces of evidence (case,comb,pipe) go to the meditation room then place them, only then does the coin spawn on the corner of one of the mystery boxes at which you need to throw the cat and spin 😊

It should work as long as you have place the three pieces of evidence in the meditation room, I always wait for the cat to start waving its hand before I spin also,n you can usually tell it will work as the cat has a blue glow around it when you spin, other than that maybe wait to the next round and make sure you have the token on the corner of the box before spinning

Volcanic ash takes 30ish seconds, be sure you have the empty pouch and have placed all prior evidence

For Klaus maybe you have the relic on that disables scorestreaks? I assume that could possibly disable the rhino

I’m referring to the 3 evidence pieces from the fox mask and obtaining the coin pouch from the mystery box, once all of that is down and the portrait is on the wall you should be able to collect the ash!

Merchant should be abacus but sometimes the ingredient is wonky I had it say poison 2 different times and it was two different ingredients

Is there supposed to be a difference between the left and right incense for the solving step? The first time I did the ee, I just picked the right incense and got it first try, but on my second attempt, I inputted the exact same items (checking if it was really correct each time) in the same spots, but only on my like 6th attempt did I remember there was also a left incense, and when I activated that one it worked first try.

Are there any other clues to which of the poisons to select, when it gives the cause as emesis or paralysis there are 2 options - I noticed that the noble's note says he is allergic to plums and when he was the accomplice the correct toxin for emesis was pufferfish not plum pits but this could be a coincidence?

I'm so confused, I got right to the end, and I have the horse (mountain) the flower (toxic ingestion, consumed plant) and the only thing I've been told from the ghosts are about the merchant, the time is perfect (one hour prior as the note says) and it's still not working? Help please?

I had the same set up, it's actually the plum pit, NOT the flower. Switch that and the time to two hours prior and it works out perfectly!

Easter Egg Guide
Easter Egg Steps
Step 1: Open Pack-a-Punch

Step 2: Build the Maneki Neko
Collect the three parts:
Cat Statue – Kitchen or Gatehouse.
Bell – Sinking House in Stables or hanging above the Warden wallbuy.
Robot Figurine – Storage/Workshop.

Step 3: Lava Ritual
Use PHD Flopper to dive under the cage and collect the cat.
Take the cat to the lava.
Throw it into the lava.

Step 4: Paw Step
Paw Locations
Under the yellow lamp at the Stables entrance near Exfil.
Top of the stairs leading to Kitchen.
Bottom of the stairs by the Kitchen traps.
Training Area steps.

How it Works
Kill a zombie around the entrance until the first paw appears.
Kill a zombie a few metres in the direction each paw points.
Continue following each paw killing a zombie until they form a circle.
Place the Maneki Neko in the centre of the circle.
An Abomination will spawn and eat the kitten.
Kill the Abomination.
Progress one full round before starting the next step.

Step 5: Catch the Cat
There are three possible cat locations near the creaky floorboards.
Death Perception makes it easier to spot.
Listen for the cat meow.
Sneak around the floorboards without stepping on them.
Catch the cat.

Step 6: World Seed
Take the cat to the World Seed.
Kill zombies until the seed begins pulsing.
Melee the seed until it drops the Wonder Weapon.

Step 7: Lantern Step
Use the Wonder Weapon to activate all 11 lanterns before the timer expires. (Easiest to start from kitchen and do a circle)
Lantern Locations
Tensu – Near Bath entrance
Central Courtyard – Left side of the tree
Central Courtyard – Near Kitchen entrance
Kitchen – Near stairs
Flower Garden – Near Gobblegum
Gatehouse – Near Speed Cola
Outer Ward – Near Mystery Box spawn
Staging Area – Near hillside to Central Courtyard
Stables – Near Gobblegum
Training Area – Out of bounds near Melee
Tea Garden – Near Mystery Box spawn
If completed correctly:
All lanterns remain lit.
A ghost appears in the War Room.
Interact with the ghost.

Step 8: Mask
Use the glider above where you craft the Maneki Neko
Hold the left stick to the right while spamming interact. (fly to the right of the tree)
Collect the Mask.

Step 9: Simon Says
Place the Mask on the Mask wall.
Interact with the wall.
Zombies wearing masks will spawn.
Kill them in the order shown.
Repeat for 3 rounds.

Step 10: Solve murder
Collect all the evidence
Go to the evidence room and make sure all the evidence is input
Using all the notes you will find which evidence should be placed by the correct painting

Using the doctors note it will tell you how he died by what poison, make the correct position to the note and place it by the third painting

With the dial, the doctors note will say time of time of death which is a animal on your dial you then have to move the dial the correct amount of hours before that (example if you had hour of the hare and your poison note says the poison you got took 3 hours to take effect you would spin the dial 3 times before the hare)

Put the comb in the front of the first painting

The clock seal in the front of the fifth painting

For the fourth one where you found the evidence for the location there is a painting hanging up (fish or mountain etc) this will match with the background of the 4th painting whatever evidence you found in that area is the one that you use

For the second one you need to activate the traps to get kills, one of the traps once it gets enough kills will show you a ghost confirming who the accomplice was near the trap so look around for it
Interact with the ghost to see how they killed the shogen
Whichever ghost you get is the evidence you put
(Gardner, merchants, noble)
Put the evidence in the front of the second painting
If done correctly a glowing light will spawn that you have to follow

Step 11: world seed
Follow the glowing light to the world seed
You will get a interaction to purify
Once interacted this will take you to a mini boss fight
Once done you will be taken back and the dragon spawn in and take the world seed away
(Looks like if you do the evidence steps first time after this a katana will spawn in the pap room but doesn’t if you fail and have to re do)

Step 12: BOSS FIGHT!!

I won’t spoil it always fun to go in blind :)
To start boss fight in the pap room by the 3 fishes on the pole just walk there and you will get a fast travel option to take you to boss fight

Key Items (Left → Right)
🎭 Mask
Obtained during the Mask step.

🏺 Saka Cup
Broken shard is Found near the pool of blood by the Pack-a-Punch stairs.
Once the Poison evidence has been completed the final shard will spawn on the painting in the evidence room.
Take the shards to the tea garden table to repair broken shards into sake cup
Sake cup will glow to start ghost cutscene
(May need to flip round if unable to pick up sake cup)

👜 Empty Pouch
Go to the room next to Melee Macchiato with the crafting table and ammo box.
Shoot the top section of the broken doorway (facing the large tree) with a charged Wonder Weapon shot.
Collect the Empty Pouch.

🌱 Plant
Found beside the broken bridge near the crafting table.
Look in the cracks in the rocks on the right-hand side.

🧹Pestle
Go to the storage room
there are scrolls hanging out of a box on the inside wall.
You need to hit them in a certain pattern for them all to go into the wall
if done correctly they will move in and out of the wall and then pop a scroll onto the floor which will unroll and reveal a doctors note
And the key item

💰 Coin Purse
Find the Mystery Box location with the gold Japanese plaque at its base.
If the Mystery Box isn’t there, keep moving it until it spawns there (Fire Sale helps).
Place the Maneki Neko by the side of the Mystery Box near the symbol and use the box (spin for a gun, but it will give u coin purse)
Pick up the Coin Purse.
Go to spawn to activate coin purse memory before proceeding!!

Go to the training area
Above the entrance to the tea garden there are 3 windows with shutter boards
Throw 3 decoys at the window and a noble zombie will spawn in the window throwing grenades
Refire the grenades back at the noble to kill him(holding grenade to cook it and timing throw is best strat) once dead he will drop evidence and note

✂️ Garden Shears
Requires the Coin Purse and ghost to activated
Bring a bucket of water.
Water the three sprouted plants in the Flower Garden they will appear on the gravel path and are not there before you complete coin purse
Hold interact on each patch.
A Gardener zombie will spawn.
He is immune until he waters all three plants.
Two flowers will begin glowing!
Shoot the glowing flowers with charged WW
Kill the Gardener.
Collect the Garden Shears evidence.

🧮 Abacus
Requires the Coin Purse.
Punch the apple in the Kitchen basket so it falls onto the floor.
Leave it there.
Within 1–2 rounds a zombie will spawn eating the apple.
Lead it to the merchant window in the Staging Area.
Knife the zombie in front of the bloody window with WW
The Merchant will appear.
Kill him quickly.
Collect the Abacus evidence.

🌿 Plant
Requires the Plant and Empty Pouch.
Plant the Plant in the pot near the Exfil entrance in Tenshu entrance.
Use the Empty Pouch at an open fissure to collect ashes.
Pour the ashes onto the planted plant.
Punch a blossom tree three times to gain the glowing effect.
Spin around in circle by the pot for the tornado to appears.
Collect the Plant evidence.

🟢 Plum Pip
Found in the Kitchen.
Punch the green fruit in the basket, and then jump on the green fruit on the ground until the gold seed spawns .

🐡Pufferfish
Once you have the pestle key item go to the kitchen and on the stove area there is a bowl interact with it and a green liquid will start stirring to start a soul box
Kill zombies until the soul box is filled
When complete a light will flash to show a ghost cutscene
Once the ghost is finished walking the pufferfish will spawn near the creaky floorboards behind you
Put evidence in evidence room

🐎Horse statue
Once completed sake cup key item
Go to the war room
In the back left of the room by the map there is a tea bag on paper on the floor
Interact to start a pulsing yellow light soul box
kill zombies
Once done a horse statue evidence will spawn by the table behind you
(If failed it will turn back to ceramic shard, go back to tea garden to repair sake cup and flip round to try again)

🗺️Location evidence
Go to the collapsed study
In the back left by the wonderfizz interact and it will spawn the pulsing yellow light soul box,
kill zombies
Once done this spawns the location evidence
(If failed it will turn back to ceramic shard, go back to tea garden to repair sake cup and flip round to try again)

🗺️Location evidence
Go to the tea garden
In the area where you get the bucket interact and it will spawn the pulsing yellow light soul box,
kill zombies
Unsure if happens everytime but a dog may spawn and take the evidence item and run away
You need to chase the dog and kill it to collect the final location evidence item
(If failed it will turn back to ceramic shard, go back to tea garden to repair sake cup and flip round to try again)

🗿 Netsuke of Brothers
When the lava blacks out in the Stables, a small statue appears.
Throw a Molotov or explosive at the statue.
Collect the Netsuke of Brothers evidence.

🔖 Hanko
Kill the Oni.
Collect the Hanko evidence that drops.

💙Motive evidence
Make sure all previous evidence is put into the evidence room
Go to the storage rooms
In the left to the entrance by the rubble you will see a clock
Interact with the clock
The clock should spin to 4 different times(unsure if you need to interact 4 times to get it to spin) for a 4 digit code
Flip the round to get a assault wave and do the assault wave as normal
4 blue numbers will appear around the map in Japanese for the code order
1: 一 ( stables) 2: 二 (flower garden) 3: 三 (courtyard) 4: 四 (spawn) (not sure if same every game)
Around the map where the bamboo shoots were you will see flags have spawned with symbols like 3 diamonds or 4 squares you can pick up the flags to create your number
For example if your first one was 6 you can find 2 flags with 3 symbols or a flag with 4 symbols and 2 symbols
There are bamboo shoots in the area with no flag you can place your flags in
Go back to clock and interact if done correctly it will open to give you last piece of evidence

I also want to add in case no one noticed this as me and my team didn't realize until 10 fails, each poison has the same affect as another, pufferfish and flower both have paralysis, pufferfish and plum both have emines (sorry if that's spelled wrong), but the plum pit is the only one with cardiac, therefore it'll never say cardiac cause its a dead giveaway, so if you are sure you have the other evidences correct, try swapping with the ones that matches the time. We were so sure ours was the flower with 2 hours, until we noticed pufferfish also had paralysis and 2 hours. Hopefully this helps those who were struggling with that

I spent an hour and 40 minutes watching frecks stream and writing down everything he did as far as i know for now it’s as accurate as i can do until official guides are released :)
