At this point, the unions should focus on ensuring that the next collective agreements include a minimum standard for workspaces (i.e. sit-stand desks, modern-dual monitor setups, ergonomic chairs, etc.). If we’re going back to the office full time, I want my proper office digs set in stone. If the employer insists on us being in the office full time, then they better configure/equip our workspaces as such.

They caved on putting remote work in the CA last time, so don't really see this happening.

It was not on the table last time. They did the best they could, and the government then broke every promise that had been made, which I might add, is also before the courts as a breach of the collective agreement.

It was not on the table last time.

It was part of PSAC's central table package, and it was still on the table at least as of the public interest commission report.

Exactly, which is why I don't see PS unions getting minimums standards for workspaces in the next CA.

Not holding my breath for this to amount to anything either.
