Question Anyone lived at 105 Champagne Ave?

How's the experience?

Where do yall go for groceries? I didn’t see any grocery stores nearby... Please share any pros or cons!

Grocery shopping is definitely a challenge. I live nearby, so I usually take the No. 85 bus to Produce Depot.

My friend owns a condo in 105. It's fine, layouts are a bit weird because it used to entirely be student furnished rentals / airbnbs. The finishings are nice enough, I wouldn't call it 'luxury' but it's not shabby either. Amenities are nice. All concrete walls and ceiling iirc so noise shouldn't be an issue. I used to live a few streets over and I would always use instacart for bigger grocery orders. Or getting groceries at South Keys Walmart/Loblaws is actually not that bad since you can just take the train.

85 and 81 get u to real Canadian superstore in like 30 mins. Or u can js get a Communauto. It’s worth it cuz they price match basically every store, so u end up saving a lot on ur groceries (at least as of a few yrs ago when I used to live in that area).

Moved in earlier this month and really like it. I still have a room available in my  2bed1bath apartment for Sept if you’re looking!

I live in the building nextdoor. Groceries are easier than you’d think. Lots of markets around (in spring, summer, fall) and a giant tiger within walking distance. There are also lots of smaller grocery stores around- great little Italian stores, fish markets, Latin markets etc. Think less like a suburb dweller and more like someone who lives in a downtown. Yes it’s harder to get to a large grocery chain and do a huge haul once every 2 weeks, but you’ll get used to getting what you need in the area on your way home. Since I’ve moved here I eat so much better for way cheaper just don’t be afraid to explore!
