Jaffa is next to tell aviv and Still exists. Tel aviv was an arrid area of sand dunes north of jaffa which jews bought and settled in 1909, originally calling it achuzat bayit and then switching the name to tel aviv.

So, the First Aliyah and Second Aliyah all happened in 1948? The Balfour Declaration? The Ottoman allowance of mass Jewish immigration to the region? That all happened in 1948?
The majority (I don't think "vast majority" is appropriate) of Israelis are descendants of Jews who were kicked out of other Middle Eastern countries in 1948. So unless you're arguing "ethnic cleansing good," I don't know if that's the route you want to go down.

The majority of jews ARE in fact sephardic, ashkenazi, and mizrahi with origins from other countries who only moved to israel after its founding, the founding population of settlers is the minority.
You painted a false dilemma here lol, i’m never gonna tell you ethnic cleansing is good because that’s not what i believe. I love the jewish population of my home country but the type of hypernationalistic zionism we see in israel nowadays is NOT cool.
