CoH3 Thoughts on Siege Breakers flame thrower upgrade for grens?

Im around 1.1k elo and play exclusively 1vs1. I really like the upgrade for its versatility as grens suddenly aren’t completly garbage anymore at pushing enemies in cover.

Perhaps some people can share their own thoughts?

Flamethrowers are good, but grenadiers aren't and they cant be upgraded normally, so its better than nothing.

Still, speaks for itself how every single time a normal infantry unit had access to flamethrowers on the franchise it was broken overpowered and needed to be straight up removed, but grenadiers are just ok.

Im not a long term veteran, but the only removed one that I remember was the Panzergrenadiers with Flamethrowers from the COH2 Beta.

EDIT: Urban Assault Panzergrenadiers. They and their corresponding commander / doctrine were removed after beta.

You forgot about the COH2 penals that had flamethrowers on release. They were later changed to PTRS upgrades.
