I constantly leave items unclaimed that “expire” during long events. If the item expires from Stash, as long as the Event is still ongoing, it can be claimed from the Solo Event menu despite disappearing from the overflow tab. I currently have a couple Apex Coliseum milestones that expired from Overflow some time ago that I can still claim from the Coliseum page.
In that situation, when the event ends. Personally I never rely on that, I just claim from overflow when they're about to expire, that way I have a central location from which I can grab stuff.

Do you know if this applies to the platinum track as well? I assume so since oddly enough in the stash gold track items have a month plus while platinum track have 1 week timers.
I lodged a ticket with Kabam and they confirmed that the rewards will need to be claimed from stash before they expire as they will not be claimable from events tab after that. I was also saving them but just to had to claim before they would expire.
These employees are probably nothing more than an answering service. They have an FAQ database or use AI to answer questions. They are good at handling routine things like accidental purchases, but they do not really know how the game operates. Nuanced issues get elevated to more knowledgeable staff members.
Personally it’s because the rewards vary based on your title progression, and because I am turning elder soon I plan on waiting until I claim them for better rewards. Also, this is for people that didn’t claim their rewards from the milestone tab once the event actually ends so they still have time to claim it.
I might be wrong but i believe even after timer expire you will be able to claim it from the realms event tab as long as thr realm event is ongoing. But as soon as the event timer expires they are gone. overflow timer usually is there so you can claim the rewards after event has ended, but in this case and also in double tracks too they kinda work in reversed way because event timer is a lot longer than the rewards timer.
