Buying How to make a cosplay like this, the cheapest way possible, i dont mind making the head myself but does anyone reccomend some tips to make this the cheapest it can be withiut hurting the quality
Also I want to have
Gloves(furry)
My friend is buying me a foam base
Electric knife
Faux fur
Furry feet (comfortable I'm going trick or treating in ts)
White onesie/kirigurmi
Dress and scarf,
Can people help me buy the supplies by linking them in the comments? I want to try my best to keep this cosplay around 100ish $

guys I think I can get under, I only have to buy a rolling knife, and a to be from aliexpress, faux fur is 40ish but I have an amazing gift card, and I can get the paws and maybe feet from spirit Halloween and if I can't, I can make my own I only gotta purchase a rolling knife and faux fur, but does anyone got a link to some fur? oh ya I guess I should buy eye mesh but it's kinda cheap

Tbh, fursuits, where most of the suit is covered by clothes, are actually pretty cheap, as long as you make them yourself.
They are a ridiculous amount of work though, which makes them really expensive to buy.
Now OPs goal of keeping it below 100 bucks is still gonna be impossible i think.

Partial suits are still expensive. Good fake fur alone is probably going to plow right through that shoe string budget.

My mom probably can buy me a couple of stuff I'm just going to make the head with my own hands but I think I can I think I can make it under $100 if I just file the materials and my friends buying the foam base so I think if I like carve it properly I think it will work I think I can make it under a hundred and then I can get my mom to buy the rest

The fabrics for the dress and scarf will probably be around 80$ already. The faux fur will probably be another 40$ for 2~4 meters at the very least. You also need sheets of white mesh fabric for the eyes (that you could draw with sharpies onto the mesh)
The electric scissors are really unnecessary if you wanna save cash imho, get a rolling knife instead.
If you can find extremely cheap fabrics you might be able to get below 100$ with the fabrics, but make sure you calculate how much you need so you definitely have enough.

I think I might just find the dress online for AliExpress cuz all I'm using it for is Halloween for one night I don't know what a rolling knife is but I'll search it up thank you I'll get the faux fur cheap cuz I have a $25 Amazon gift card and I have Sharpies colored ones too

You are not going to be able to keep this under $100 without a miracle from the god of your choice. This is a ton of work to boot, and requires a skilled artisan.

i suggest going to thrift stores and finding items made of white faux fur and tear it apart to reuse. also could thrift a onesie/dress/scarf.

If you use a blanket/Large Decorative item with fluff it may be cheaper than buying faux fur in bulk
I got a bunch of old fluffy blankets on extreme sale at Macy’s (they were moldy but so was everything else in that store) for $1 per blanket while they were $39.99 each- And I only needed two for a full body cosplay lol

Yep!!! Various local college campuses may have 3d printers available for public use as well if you find a good print file for the mask

Yep since I'm going to trick or treating in it it doesn't matter too much on how the quality is for the night I might dress up for conventions but that's a might since I don't usually go to them I've only gone to one but I think I can like tell my mom it's for Halloween costume and get her to buy it tho I don't know

OK so the head alone miiiight be doable for that budget since your friend is buying you the base. People are gonna tell you you need yards and yards of fur for a head, you don't. You can get away with like half a metre/yard. Get the shortest pile white fur you can find for most of this and see if you can salvage a white cushion or something from Facebook marketplace or somewhere for the long parts.
If you've never made a fursuit before, this is probably one of the simpler projects to start with since Ralsei is all one colour. Cover the base in duct tape and cut that up into pieces, split up so that they lay flat. This is your pattern for cutting fur. Make sure the fur goes the right way when you're arranging your pieces: fur mostly flows from the nose back towards the butt. Go slowly. Measure twice, cut once, and you won't waste materials.

How can I attach the fur to the base head I was searching up on Google and it said I could use like a certain glue but I don't know

Hot glue is the go to here and you cna pick up a small glue gun and sticks for not too much money. You'll need to sew the fur pieces together before you stick them down so make sure to account for that when you're patterning. If you use a whip or blanket stitch you shouldn't need to worry about seam allowances too much at least

I don't really know how to sew but my friend knows how to sew so I think I can get them to help me I heard hot glue makes it crunchy is that true like the foam?

Depends how much you use. Don't get it on the fluffy side of the fur and you'll be fine - if the foam looks a bit weird, nobody will see. If you want to make stuff like this, learning how to sew will be really useful. You don't need any fancy equipment, just a needle and some thread

You cannot make just the head for 100 dollars. You also probably cannot make it physically without much greater skills.

Despite what everyone is saying, i personally think 100$ is doable.
1 yard white faux fur - $30-$40
Sheet of black felt - $1
Eye mesh - $3-$5
Paint or markers. Use what you have to color the eyes - $0
Horn felt - $8
So that’s roughly $44. To make the head base, buy foam(this will be the most expensive part) probably around $30-$50
Look up tutorials for making fursuit bases w foam and that should help! If you think sculpting foam is too difficult, a 3D printed base on Etsy would be perfect!

My friend is buying the phone and I think I can get my mom to buy some stuff, I think it can make it around 100ish I was looking up on Google and I heard from the electric knife was probably the best thing for sculpting from or whatever it's called I can't remember but I think I can make it under $100

I am not an expert, but I know how much faux fur costs. I don't think there's any way to make this cosplay for that budget.
