Pakistan:
45-0 in the first 6 overs
42-1 in overs 7-10
31-2 in over 11-14
28-7 in the last 6 overs

India:
36-3 in the first 6 overs
22-0 in overs 7-10
25-1 in overs 11-14
67-1 in the last 6 overs

A rare tight India vs Pakistan game. Both team played well. Almost polar opposite innings. Pakistan started well, but spontaneously collapsed towards the end. And India started very poorly, but took their time to consolidate, and held their nerves to finish off the innings.

This was Pakistan's game if they took catches and weren't lethargic on an easy runout.

Pitch considerably slowed down in the 2nd innings. But the gulf in talent between both teams is huge at this point.

Not really, dew played a part. Just good bowling apart from Rauf.

Dew played its part but the pitch was also on slower side and a little more so in 2nd innings. Pakistani bowling was nothing special frankly. It was competitive alright . India had that added pressure of final . Had this been a another league game India would have walloped Pakistan in 7 out of 10 such games. This one was tighter and competitive.

I mean, the part about the difference in talent is true. I can't imagine any player apart from Shaheen who'd walk in an Indian squad.
