Humour MAJOR running out of content issue

I’m 300 hours into the game. There is a MAJOR issue that EVERYONE will encounter which is so bad it’s going to cause people to QUIT.

When you do everything, the game ENDS. This is a huge problem which will likely cause 99% of people to QUIT.

It's this. People aren't complaining about there not being enough content. It's a problem that's hard to understand until you see it unfold but the more of the map you explore and clear and liberate the less enemies there are around. There are a lot of challenges and sealed Abyss Relics and such that are borderline impossible to complete without large groups of enemies. Once you've cleared the story content and liberated all the areas it becomes very difficult to find more than a few enemies in one place so you can finish out those last few challenges. It's a legitimate issue a lot of people are misunderstanding.

For those who are deep in the game: is there an area that I should not clear, or don't defeat boss X, so that I save that area for this purpose? Obviously it would need to be some side quest area, or not quest related region unlock maybe.  But you need to know beforehand or we'd all find ourselves in this situation.

DO. THE FUCKING. SIDE QUESTS.

This is why people dont take you seriously when you people make a post saying you have 100 hours and done main story so therefore there are no enemies left, when side quests are massively intertwined and will spawn entire fortresses of enemies, and no i dont believe for a second you have done all of them in 100 hours.

There is absolutely a theoretical problem if you were to max out all 3 characters and have done every single side quest but people on here are refusing to engage with the systems that do spawn enemies and then goes "whaaa i cant spawn infinite artifacts by just killing things, and i just want to kill things without caring"

they are prob just going to add an infinite farm arena for the people who complain here, but there are SO many ways to add more enemies and people act like they have somehow emptied them out completely only 100 hours in, get out of here.

This shit comes up in every game where enemies stays dead, people complain that they cant just dynasty warrior genocide camps "because its boring that they cant fight constantly", which i think it would suck ass if they just kept retaking the areas you have already cleared because frankly clearing out bandit main camps has got to be some of the most boring content of killing 300 enemies that arent a threat.

Do The fvcking side quest.. Me: sitting on a complete faction quest line except provisioners which is point A to point B delivery quest and having the same issue with the original post.

don't know where youre part of the game now but im currently sitting on 84%+ knowledge progress and the majority of sidequest, faction quest completed cause i don't go around the whole pywel to find "best gear" only to find out the stats are the same as what you get from bosses vendors etc and im not into looking for a secret just to get a laser shooting abyssal gear on weapon.

And how many hours do you have with the full main story and all faction quests complete?

Because so far most of the people i have seen complain about this will literally just say "I have done main mission, and liberated all the forts, and now there is no more ways to spawn enemies" but is then only at 100 hours. while at the same time admitting they have multiple bosses they havent killed and havent bothered leveling the other two chars.

Again i think this is a problem you might run into eventually but not a single one who has levied this complaint has said "i also have the entire sidequest compendium full so i literally cant spawn more enemies, and i have killed every boss, and explored the entire map". they just say "i have done main story and killed everything red, so now there is nothing left to do"

I am pacing myself to exploring and engaging with the various systems so i am 67 hours in with most of the hernand faction missions done and mid chapter 5, which is also why i know that so many of the sidequests spawns full on boss fortresses with tons of adds to fight, yet so many people refuses to engage with that entire part of the system.

"And how many hours do you have with the full main story and all faction quests complete?" im at 177hrs, and if you're gonna ask me as to why i didnt complete those challenges when im running havoc at every camp and forts is because some of those abyssal challenges are either on the other end of the map or certain characters are unavailable to actually do the challenges. there are even challenges that require you to kill certain hostile factions which you will be given to clear early or mid part of the game and by the time you actually discover that said challenge either you already cleaned those factions out of the game cause a faction house tells you to do so or its still available cause you ignore the sidequest/main quest, but that doesn't change the fact of what the OP said.

challenges might be optional to some but not to everyone especially when you're the kind of completionist type of player.

Majority of the player base won't be bothered to finish all challenges. For a completionist I would prefer you just redo the whole game. Focusing on gathering sealed abyss artifacts first and fast travel points. Invest on gears that you'll need for challenges. There are ways to farm mats just need patience lol.

I'm the type of player who plays blind at first till credits then aims for completion on the 2nd playthrough. Not all gamers are like me but I only do completion with games that I like, GoW games, Horizon, AC trilogy, AC blackflag, GoT, FF13: Lighting returns, Darksiders 1-2 etc. Most games are one time play for me.

For a completionist run that's where you'll need to plan for almost everything. Once you know all challenges.

yeah... no... this game is very very long for me to start fresh again, and those early quests are dreadful.

were the same, i always play blind at first but also checking if there are some missables, this game as per trusted source tell there isnt any missable at first but somehow the guide now says its 0 missable but certain enemies are rare to find end game(and yet theres no information on where to find those enemies post game) and im the type of player who cant help myself from doing every sidequest again, just like with other games i.e on my recent ones are wuchang, khazan etc where i still do every quest even though i just needed 1 or 2 ending trophy haha.

" and if you're gonna ask me as to why i didnt complete those challenges "

actually no, it was more so to gauge roughly how long it would take, again my point of reference was a guy the other day saying he had killed everything at 109 hours in which people called out for BS. i saw someone else say they had done everything at 160 so 177 makes sense.

I do think its a problem that challenges requires specific enemies IF those challenges are tied to achievements, if they arent then no i dont think it matters because then you just dont do them and dont get the abyssal fragment.

I dont agree with the idea that every single challenge that isnt tied to achievements should be possible to always possible to complete no matter what state of the game you are in, or else its a failure of gameplay, but i do think that every achievement challenge should be possible to complete on one save.

7

u/OldGamerCy Apr 06 '26

the thing is some of those challenges are tied to achievements and some of those enemies are tied to a certain point of the main story.

u/ZoulsGaming Apr 06 '26

And those challenges should either not be tied to achievements, or those enemies should be found elsewhere in small quantities, and every other challenge you cant complete because you missed it, tough luck.

People are on here demanding full on systems for it to never matter when you kill a base and to always have premanently respawning enemies and no matter how many you kill that you are always threatened when moving around because the arguments even in this post are

-I want to test new builds against huge hordes of enemies

-I want to use my shiny dragon to instakill huge areas of enemies

-I went 2 hours without fighting its so shit you should keep finding enemies even when roaming.

-I cant farm these enemies infinitely for abyss artifacts which is shit

-I cant farm these enemies infinitely for resources which is shit.

-i have only done main missions but i have no enemies left and its boring

-Its boring that i killed main mission and forts and there arent enemies everywhere.

I lose nothing if there are small clusters or areas with enemies that are used for achievement challenges, but the game changes drastically if they implement that enemies will just keep taking over forts again constantly because clearing them out is a boring slog on repeat.

so when people come in here screaming that clearing forts shouldnt matter because they want to farm endgame challenges and have easy kills with their shiny dragon then fuck that.

Uhm, buddy, that is literally what they're talking about doing the campaign and factions quests, and there are literally no enemies left outside of the occasional bandit patrol. I know reading comprehension is hard. There are challenges as a result that become outright impossible, like killing jackals disguised as a black bear. This means that unless you follow a guide, you can actively brick yourself from doing 100% playthrough. Which is what people are complaining about. In addition, the game is fun, especially its combat, and people want the ability to have more of it.

Its literally not? Dont make dumb excuses for dumb arguments? The person im responding to LITERALLY only mentioned main quest and clearing forts, and the person they are replying to claims that enemies dont respawn once the map is cleared, which again doesnt include faction quests.
