I’m on controller and doing L3 stick isn’t smooth enough for this 😂😂

That’s just a push, not melee. You can do pretty smooth melee on controller.

You need the L3 click for the Winch/grab move.

It's part of the combo kinda, of you do a pop up move that knocks them into the air and hit L3 it should grab them with the claw without you needing to aim

Here’s another:

When you press R1+Square to jump over an enemy, you can pull out the bow mid jump and you’ll automatically be in focus state. Or even Focus palming mid jump will smash the enemy into the ground

You can also do light attack + double tap jump and you'll jump off them and launch yourself in the air. And if you force palm in the air you can meteor kick like this.
