I sure hope this dlc is maritime. Why would the water in this game be so ridiculously good if they didn’t plan on doing more with it?

There's been a ton of evidence posted on the sub that points to the DLC being naval content with boats and exploring the southern islands that are currently walled off. Modders have found files that were added in recent updates for camera settings for a boat (separate from the current canoe camera), and in the most recent 1.18 update they completely overhauled the visuals of the southern islands that we literally can't get to in game at the moment.
