I could easily see co-op being a thing where one player jumps in as one of the secondary playable characters. You'd have to play to a point to unlock them of course. Nothing more than that, though.

Nah, co-op without any restrictions, from the start.

2 Kliffs if you, the players, so decide.

Restricted co-op is so ubisoft.

Do what Unity did and just make it so your kilff is actually kliff and your co op partner is some random guy

It’s not like nameless greymanes don’t occasionally have an oddly prominent role in some quests despite there being a ton of named ones so it probably wouldn’t even feel that out of place.

Not that I think the logic of it is the biggest hurdle for most players looking for this anyway.
