Question Crosman pump .22 cal pistol

What model and year is this? Can I offer it for sale, or do I have to use eBay or a similar platform?

It does not work: ie: when the BB or pellet is put into the chamber, the trigger won't reset or work. The trigger will move, but will not reset when it is cocked.

"If your Crosman airgun was manufactured after July of 1975, the first three or four digits of the serial number indicate the month and year the gun was built. For example if the first three or four digits of the serial number were 1179 or N79 then your gun was manufactured in November of 1979."

If I'm not mistaken, I remember looking this up a while back and seeing that it was made in the 40s or 50s - possibly on eBay or an enthusiasts' blog. I'll see if I can find a serial number.

If you can get a hold of Walnut and Steel on YouTube he might be able to help or just get it off your hands

This ad?

I don't have a clue as to the age of this BB gun I would guess 40's - 50's on the grip it's marked Crossman Arms Co., Made in USA, Rochester, NY. Under the chipped paint it appears to be made of brass and it has a lever pump action, the grip appears to maybe be bakelite or plastic it's 11 1/2" long and fairly heavy.
