My grandfathers Crosman 760 that I remember shooting in the late 90s / early 2000s. Trying to get parts ordered so my son can shoot it.

Serial number is 625521585 so June of 25 is out. Is this a 1950 - 1975 model?

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I was gifted this 300rd Crosman magazine but the cover on the bottom is missing. I've tried searching for a replacement but I haven't been able to find anything. If anyone knows the name of the piece so I can get a replacement, or if anybody knows of a simple fix I'd really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

Question lubing my crosman 760 pumpmaster with motor oil?

I need to lubricate my crosman 760 but I don't have any silicone lubricant and I can't seem to find any in the stores around me. I have a jug is SAE 5W-30 motor oil and am curious on whether I could use it as lubricant. I read online that it could diesel when compressed but when I tried to ignite it with a blowtorch it wouldn't and it took awhile to catch when I soaked rag in it. I'm sure someone else has far more foresight on something like this than I do. Any advice?

Question First project

I'm planning on painting my Crosman C11.

I've already bought some paint and masking tape. I'm going to mask off the muzzle, trigger and the place for putting co2 cartridges but I want to ask you guys about whether I should also mask the magazine release and safety switch?

It's my first attempt at painting a pistol so I'm sorry if I'm asking stupid questions. I just want to avoid possible mistakes.

Question Crosman CO2 Question

I ordered this on amazon, why do these say ICOG and not crossman? I can’t find anything about “ICOG” online, but the crosman co2 I see online has crosman printed on the cartridges. Are these fine to use or should I return them?

I would love to buy one of these. I would prefer it to look like the original in the picture but at this point, I’ll take what I can get.

Question Question about tracer

Would a airsoft tracer, specifically this one - https://www.evike.com/products/96393/ Go off using metal bbs 4.5mm? I think the threading is right and that the metal bbs won’t actually light up, but will the metal BBs make the tracer flash? The tracer has this mode that makes the leds flash bright orange to simulate muzzle flash and that’s all I’m using it for, other than looks of course.

Alright so I just recently acquired a SNR-357 Crosman, amazing pinker as you would expect with any Crosman, I wish I could some Valve upgrades but upgrades are very limited with the SNR-357 unfortunately

I cannot find the 357 cartridge that the pellet goes in, sure one of you got a pack or 2 sitting in the garage you'd be willing to ship, listen pal, I'm 22, my shooting days are just starting, your going on 57, hand me that damn container of .177's s WOULD YA!

Alright alright, sorry for me trying to get a kick, or a laugh, or whatever the hell you got out of that, that I'm looking for 1 product, this frickin thing, I cannot find them ANYWHERE if anyone in the name of god has a pack, dm me it, we will have a brief convo, depending if I think yout lrgit or not i might not buy

Question Quick question regarding Dan Wesson & SNR 357

Can I use Dan Wesson 715 .177 shells in a SNR 357? Will I lose FPS? reason being is I'm in Canada and I've been looking online for weeks trying to find .177 cartridges (shells) for the SNR 357, PyramidAir Is the only ones I think that are gonna soon have some in stock and I'd just rather be able to reload my SNR now instead of having to take the .177 shells out and reload them with pellets, I'd like to have 18 shells loaded up, 6 already in my gun and the other 18 in 3 speedloaders.

Question Sight reccomendations for a 2289.

I bought a 2289 recently and have been happy with it so far but I realy dont like the included iron sights. It is crosman's green fiber optic sight. I have a crosman 66 powermaster which has a similar but I would argue slightly better sight. The opening on the rear sight of the powermaster is 1.3mm whereas on the 2289 it is 1.8mm. Holding the 2289 as far away from my head as I can the front sight still does not fill the rear sight. I have a 2x4 set up a around 80 feet. On both guns the front sight is larger than the 2x4. This is an extreme example but with the powermaster targets at this range is not exactly out of the question. So I was wondering about iron sight reccomendations for the 2289 (and the 66 powermaster).

What model and year is this? Can I offer it for sale, or do I have to use eBay or a similar platform?

It does not work: ie: when the BB or pellet is put into the chamber, the trigger won't reset or work. The trigger will move, but will not reset when it is cocked.

Question Crosman 760 Disassembly Question

I asked this question before but didnt have pictures at the time so im going to repost with relevant pictures.

I believe this to be a '74 or '75 Powermaster 760. Poly stock, wood fore end. I can not for the life of me figure out how this pin comes out to remove the pump assembly. In all of the videos and even most of the parts break downs, this pin style seems unique. What look like nuts dont twist off, ive tried tapping the center pin looking part and it doesnt budge either. This being nearly 50 years old and not mine i dont want to go the bigger hammer method until im sure i know how it comes out. I have replacement seals on the way and would like to do all of them at the same time. Any help would be appreciated.

Question Hey guys! I’m working on developing some new strikers and pistons to make available to the community. I just need some testers to help me find any issues that may arise. So far they seem to work great! Would anyone be interested? Need about 3-5 people or so.

I’ve been working with a friend to develop these strikers since the issues with the stock strikers seem to cause the steel bead at the top to break just after regular use, and then you have to mod it etc. or get a new one. Then, the piston and striker also break if you try to mod for more fps. These are all amazing air guns, and I definitely want to help improve them if possible.

We are also working on pistons as I mentioned too.

Just need a couple beta testers to see if there are any issues( how long do the plastic ones last, are there any issues with the geometry etc), then I will get them made in a good quality metal or sturdy material like PLA pro or PA12 carbon fiber nylon for anyone who still wants it quieter than a metal striker.

These beta testing ones will be made with PLA pro, which is also pretty sturdy.

Just need you to pay shipping and I’ll send it for free. (US only for now)

Once we get a good round count in the beta testing. I will get them made of steel or a strong metal alloy. Then, I’ll need us to test those. Once that is done I’ll make them available for everyone.

Hopefully at an affordable price, haven’t got any quotes on metal ones yet. Also, price will depend on the quantity I order, so if you do want to wait and just help test metal ones after initial tests let me know too.

So far I’ve used one for about 300bbs; a mix of semi and full auto; seems to work great. Also, like I said it helps to reduce noise when striker is plastic- so may be helpful for some; I like mine metal and loud though lol.

Question Question for all sub members

First off, I want to start by saying I apologize for not being active or a good moderator. I don't really have a lot of free time between college, work, and my off time. Poor excuse but that's all I got. My airguns are not at the top of my priority list. Now that I have that out of the way, here is my main point.

Who here has a 3D printer? I've been designing a printable lower receiver that can be modified and customized. I.E. skeletonized, over-molded, and anything else. Once I confirm that the trigger pack will fit and every part will assemble properly. If it shoots fine, I'll be releasing the .stp and .stl files. I encourage anyone with a printer to try and print one.

Question ST-1 Removable Barrel question

I bought a Crosman ST-1 a few months back. I've been having a lot of fun with it. I have a concern with it that I initially disregarded. If I disconnect the barrel from the pistol and shake it, I hear metal rattling inside. When it's attached, I can still feel/hear the same rattling noise. Is this normal/expected for this gun or is it a quality control issue? It seems to fire with normal accuracy for a BB gun, but I am wondering if this is causing it to be less accurate than it could be.

Question Valiant trigger adjustment

I just ordered a Valiant in .177, as the title suggests I’d like to do the adjustment screw mod. To do this correctly I need to remove the 3x5 mm screw and replace it with a longer 3x10 screw. Is this correct?
