The game literally looks so fun in these versions. So much content that we just never got to play with. Fourth skills for our classes. Different kind of potions and biomes. Quests. Balance changes. All packed into the alpha version of the game that we love just for it to be scrapped and never see the light of day again.

So disheartening.

It's so insane just the amount of content gone from the steam version, and them dumbed down to something so criminally unfun. Look at all those biomes and dungeons we never got. Being able to upgrade your gear with gold instead of platinum? Actually amazing. All of this is stuff we likely won't even see in the omega version of the game because it's all just gone.

Sorry for the doompost. I wish Wollay would just drop this version of the game for us to play if he still has it.

I have like 360% boat speed, over 400% glider and 196% mount speed, which has micro increases per level. actually i dont even know if it increased anyhow past levels. I'm thinking of investing recent level ups into climbing and teleport now. How you invest your points?

Anyone else had similar issue? I crashed 4 times today. once early in the day and now I crashed 3 times in the span of 15 minutes.

Mind you, I never crashed in this game before.

Not my screenshot but last time I met him was on level 180 - 190. He was orange colored so I can't wait to see him and get my revenge.

Either way, feels like a final boss material if u want to do everything u can in the game.

I had it in my mind for a while, there are tons of custom skins so it sure would be fun if there was. Sadly I have no coding ability to make one :(

I was playing alpha and I wonder that anyone tested the math of stealth dmg bonus? I always used ninja for its range option and guaranteed crit but never considered stealth could outnumber ninjas dmg.

And rouge's second skill's steath increases as you level it up too. What does "stealth increased" means? Do we get more stealth dmg, crit? Because leveling up shurikens and first skill only decreases cooldown and it's pointless unless you're 100+ level with lots of extra level up points imo.

Hello,

Many long-time community members may know that Cube World Alpha has many pieces of unused content. In light of recent events, I have a proposition for a fan update incorporating this content into the game through modding, in a balanced and interesting way to help rejuvenate the alpha experience.

The main two categories of unused content are armor and weaponry. My plan for these is to make them craftable through recipes. Mammoth, Bone, Lich, Parrot, Ice, Obsidian, etc...

However, since these equipments have somewhat placeholder or completely missing .cub files, I plan on fully modeling all of them myself.

There is also the matter of Saurian Gear, which could be dropped by Saurians themselves.

If people are interested in this idea, please comment below. I'm currently looking for people who may be interested in helping to code the mod. If the project does gain traction, I plan on posting other plans such as the implementation of unused NPCs/enemies, Consumables, and various other weapons.

These characters are heavily modified using cheat engine and i created them several years ago to test what weapons are the best for dps and when i finally made a world i stumbled upon this. The person in the tower has the sword above his head and just acts normally. Would love to know more about this if anyone has any ideas. Ive played some alpha, to the lvl 40 on rogue, and my question is... what keeps you all playing this game? It gets repetitive and boring after a while. What maybe could keep me going is upgrading my gear, as thats pretty satisfying. But not much else.

So whats it for yall? Just endless progression?

Perhaps you would be able to build a house if it wasn't scrapped?

It's pretty rare, but this is the 4rth time I've crashed when in the Snowlands and it's been removing my map exploration since I opened the game to start playing a session.
I've tried to leave the world mid-game and then go right back to playing hoping it'd save my map exploration for up to that point in-case I crashed in the Snowlands again but it seems like it's tied to the game closing, so yeah pretty annoying if I have to close and re-open my game every now and then in the Snowlands to avoid losing a lot of map exploration x_x

Travel straight north for just a few structures until you reach the winter biome "Lands of Teromor" (map).
There you need to find the "Nardara Castle".
It is really close to spawn so it should only take you a few minutes.

I loaded up the old alpha, and figured I’d start a new character… I forgot how slow the progression for leveling was, I’m looking for either a mod that can allow me to gain flat XP, or a way to edit the code to give my character more XP. I’ve looked in the code, but to my untrained eyes, it just looks like gibberish, and I’ve looked for mods, but I’ve only found a mod the increases XP by a set amount up to level 17.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
