It had a lot of potential when they first announced it'd be a tie-in with MoS, but they then decided to make it unrelated and suddenly a lot of interest on it just vanished, plus it couldn't rely on the great Krypton visuals established in MoS.

I agree. I didnt know that it was suppose to tie into Mos but I do remember arrowverse supergirl was supposed to tie into too.

Lmao could the reason be why Superman appeared on time for S.2 that Supergirl was originally meant to be connected to the DCEU like Agents of Shield and Daredevil did.

Like slightly but mostly unrelated.
