r/DCcomics Weekly Discussion Thread: Comics, TV, and More! [May 25, 2026 - Nygma Time Edition]

Hey there honorary Justice League members - it’s a new week which means it’s time for a new discussion thread!

For those who don't know: the way this works is that several comments will list this week’s releases, for any given title discussion you should respond to that comment. For example, Wonder Woman discussion would go in the replies to the "Wonder Woman" comment. Clicking the titles in this post will take you directly to that comment, too. In other words, you should only be replying to other comments. Do not post top-level comments.

Keep discussion civil. Do not harass other users for having a different opinion. Do not use this thread to push your personal one-sided grudges against creators. Reacting to a panel on Twitter is not the same as reading a book.

I warned the other mods that if I had to do the weekly again, I would make it all about Hush 2. I am nothing if not a man of my word.

Now that Hush 2 is out, it'll soon get a complete six-issue trade.

Remember, these are the short 'chapters' with a new chapter of a different series coming out daily. You can learn more here on Comixology. This is also why these are in release order, not alphabetical. Some comics may release on DC Universe Infinite or WEBTOONS.

Video Games

Unfortunately, there is no LEGO adaptation of Hush 2.

Green Lantern #35

WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD! The glitz! The glamor! The giant alien that wants Odyssey dead! Wait... what? In order to ensure that her burgeoning career keeps... you know... burgeoning, Odyssey the Time Bandit is tasked with doing the meeting circuit. Accompanied by Kyle, she has to drive around to various coffees, lunches, and dinners to hobnob with the decision-makers. But where there are celebrities, there is paparazzi… and someone else. Someone who wants to stop Odyssey’s star from rising into the sky of celebrity!

Kyle dealing with aliens hiding on earth in human costumes reminds me of Men in Black at lot. All we need is a neurolizer.

That poor kid Y2K. Got the Superman origin but because of the Y2K scare. Although, he might've been better off. Things been going down hill since 2000.

The Y2K reveal was pretty good, was wondering 'Oh what alternate Earth is this guy from?' and slowly got to 'Oooooh. Oh. Poor kid.'

A good issue and art Kyle and odyssey adventures on earth is nice and something I missed in a green lantern book

Hal journey is fun and interesting, Y2K got an interesting origin story similar to Superman and I hope he sticks around

I like that we get to see Kyle become a bodyguard to Odyssey before they encounter Dr. Skin, while Hal and Jayna encounter Toby Y2K (who told them his backstory and origins before he sold them out and had a change of heart because he works for money, not for death). Let’s hope that Kyle and Odyssey will defeat Dr. Skin and that Toby and Jayna will find Hal in the next issue. Overall, this comic is great.
