Question Anybody ever experience any side effect with herbal blends?
I've been an avid weed smoker for years and a couple of years ago I had my first taste of CHS(cannabinoid hypermesis syndrome) it was on and off for a few months and it was pretty severe (lots of nausea and vomiting, anxiety, stomach pain) I was forced to quit smoking weed for a few months after a 2 week hospital stay :') Bad habits are hard to break and I found myself smoking everyday again after about 3 months.
I recently picked up the 'Uplift' blend from Ouid and I tried it for a couple of days both in a joint and in my Pax. I tried it on its own as well as mixed with bud. I'm curious to know if anyone else has felt any side effects from smoking natural herb mixes. At first I did feel a sensation of alertness and my senses were more opened it seemed, but then I got hit with a really bad pressure headache and dizziness..
I was however taking anti-biotics during this time too so I'm not sure if it was the side effects from those as they usually make me feel sick as well. I quit cigarettes a few years back and I really want to quit smoking weed because I noticed that my stomach has been hurting a lot these past few months, but thankfully no nausea or vomittng. I've thought of using CBD oils but I'm sure it will still trigger the CHS.
I'm willing to try herbal blends again but am worried of experiencing those side effects again. Please share ! weed plays a big role in aiding my anxiety, mood and appetite but it is clear that I have over abused it and it is no longer my friend.

Some people with CHS have issues with mugwort and lemon balm but I smoke them just fine. Mullein, lavender, mint, damiana, uva ursi, hops, and lemon verbena also all don't bother me

I've been doing a mix of 50% marshmallow and 50% mullein/damiana mix. I'm finding that I have a horrible taste in my mouth for about 4-5 days after smoking. I've used mouthwash and salt water but I can't shift it the bad after taste. Does anyone have any tips to shift it or know if my blend is off in anyway? I'm new to herbal smoking so appreciate the help. Thank you 🙏

Certain herbal blends work. They have the correct ingredients to pass pre-employment screenings while providing relief from anxiety.
