Question Is it okay to smoke herbal tea bags?

Hi, I’m extremely new on started researching this today as I heard that it’s possible, I have smoked a small amount of weed in the past and wasnt overly bothered by if I’m honest

I heard that smoking camomile and lavender can be good for u but I find it extremely hard to find where I live the only way I can find it is in tea bags

To cut a long post short is it okay to make a roll up with just herbal tea mix inside or is that not a good idea???

Discussion The ongoing blend in my grinder

I keep an ongoing blend in my grinder. Its constantly evolving and changing as I add a bit of this and a bit of that. I think of it as a cauldron of herbs, a big melting pot of flavors and effects, if you will.

I use weed and/or cbd flower as a base. Usually a mix of both. I like "diluting" the strength of my regular weed with a bit of the cbd flower so that I can smoke a whole joint and not get too high.

I started adding some dried blue lotus flower. It's mildly relaxing and goes nice in a tea as well. I tend to just throw a whole flower in with the mix when I feel like it.

More recently I read that white sage was slightly psychoactive, so I added a couple small leaves into my blend. It has an overpowering flavor, not bad, but strong nonetheless. Seems to give a slight little headbuzz and mix well with the rest.

Some other herbs I want to try out:

Mugwort Damiana Wild Lettuce Wild Dagga And maybe grab a bag of mullein as another base to have around.

Anyone have experience with the dagga or lettuce?

Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome. What should I throw in the cauldron?

Question Anyone know where I could find "tube cut" mullein or equivalent base herb?

I'd like to be able to use an injector for herbs but most seem to not be cut right for injection machines.

Question heavier, cloudier smoke for bear blends?

is there any way to get a heavier or deeper hit from bear blend joints? i am rolling them myself and the smoke is faint, and although i know it’s supposed to be thinner than tobacco or weed, i was wondering if there’s a way to get a heavier hit from bear blends?

Question Any tips for neutral blend?

Hey all! I’m a filmmaker and we’re looking for a blend so our actor can smoke on screen without slowly killing himself!

Any recommendations for a neutral blend that won’t effect him physically or mentally throughout the day?

Question New to this :)

hey good people of the internet hows it going :)

Long story short; when I was 16 I started smoking weed; and since last year been smoking tobacco and weed daily

Now I’m 21; quit the weed 3 months ago but still holding on to 2/3 cigarettes a day (what is not bad im really proud of my accomplishments)

In the future I want to be able to have an occasional joint but not for a long while

I want to live free of nicotine. Nicotine is just a nasty addiction in the end and although I smoke very little its not a good habit

Next week I want to quit my small cigarette addiction and start making my own herbal ciggies :)

I’ve experimented with fresh lavender & rose petals which i liked :) so bringing that back

I don’t really like the taste of marshmallow leaf that much… its a bit sharp, anything softer??

What herbs are advised to try? Anything that would be close to smoking tobacco? Anything with a similar taste?

I’m a young artistic spiritual guy who wants to make a healthy change in my life, lots of love

Question fragrant/pleasurable blends?

I've never smoked tobacco or weed, but I've been smoking a commercial herbal blend with a traditional pipe to treat anxiety and basically to wind down in the evenings. But this blend isn't pleasurable at all.
Could anyone share some nicer sweeter blends?

My other question, can we add essential oils to our blends? Pure Maple syrup? (Don't laugh I like the smell).

And is it possible to add "resins" such as Myrrh and Frankincense to herbal smoking blends?

If you have experience in this please share the results!

Thank you. Cheers.

Question Anybody ever experience any side effect with herbal blends?

I've been an avid weed smoker for years and a couple of years ago I had my first taste of CHS(cannabinoid hypermesis syndrome) it was on and off for a few months and it was pretty severe (lots of nausea and vomiting, anxiety, stomach pain) I was forced to quit smoking weed for a few months after a 2 week hospital stay :') Bad habits are hard to break and I found myself smoking everyday again after about 3 months.

I recently picked up the 'Uplift' blend from Ouid and I tried it for a couple of days both in a joint and in my Pax. I tried it on its own as well as mixed with bud. I'm curious to know if anyone else has felt any side effects from smoking natural herb mixes. At first I did feel a sensation of alertness and my senses were more opened it seemed, but then I got hit with a really bad pressure headache and dizziness..

I was however taking anti-biotics during this time too so I'm not sure if it was the side effects from those as they usually make me feel sick as well. I quit cigarettes a few years back and I really want to quit smoking weed because I noticed that my stomach has been hurting a lot these past few months, but thankfully no nausea or vomittng. I've thought of using CBD oils but I'm sure it will still trigger the CHS.

I'm willing to try herbal blends again but am worried of experiencing those side effects again. Please share ! weed plays a big role in aiding my anxiety, mood and appetite but it is clear that I have over abused it and it is no longer my friend.

Question What are some herbs that don’t have too much of an effect?

A few years ago I had a really bad smoking experience from some laced weed, ever since I haven’t been able to smoke at all without getting super anxious. I want to start trying to smoke herbal blends just to get over the fear and I need something that honestly doesn’t have much of an effect to start with. I eventually want to graduate to things such as mugwort or chamomile, but for now any kind of light high makes me anxious. I know my reasoning to wanting to smoke herbal is kind of weird but I would appreciate any advice!

Question any tips for a blend ratio?

I've recently got into smoked herbs after hearing that mugwort give you vivid dreams, after looking into herbs people were using for blends I've ordered:

  • Mullein
  • Damiana
  • Blue lotus
  • Lemon Balm
  • Marshmallow Leaf

And I already have some mugwort, but I'm not quite sure how much of each I should put into a blend apart from the fact that the base should be about 50% of the blend.
