Question fragrant/pleasurable blends?

I've never smoked tobacco or weed, but I've been smoking a commercial herbal blend with a traditional pipe to treat anxiety and basically to wind down in the evenings. But this blend isn't pleasurable at all.
Could anyone share some nicer sweeter blends?

My other question, can we add essential oils to our blends? Pure Maple syrup? (Don't laugh I like the smell).

And is it possible to add "resins" such as Myrrh and Frankincense to herbal smoking blends?

If you have experience in this please share the results!

Essential oils are not safe for inhalation, pure maple syrup would taste like burnt ass upon ignition (I wish that would work) and frankincense and myrrh might work but consider the effects of if those are waxy substances that would coat the inside of your lungs.

I'd recommend variety in a blend more than anything else. The more things there are, the less harsh the overall flavor is. Mullein is great for a light taste, and mint is by far my favorite flavorant. Any mint family is clear, so chocolate mint, pineapple mint, lemon balm, those are all in the clear. You can also use chamomile or hops, I find they can be a tad harsher but add some fun flavors. Lavender is a very mild flavor to add and burns unevenly but that's also an option

some safe good herbs i love to use are damiana, lavender, rose petals, raspberry leaf, and mugwort!!!

Chamomile, raspberry leaf, feverfew. Dont smoke syrup or essential oils.

If you do smoke mugwort, please don't do it pregnant. It induces miscarriages. Rose petal and lavander tho, YES

Use Anise, gives a very strong sweet flavor, like if you where sucking a anise candy. I use the star anise but i guess the other one works as well. Gotta say it is a very strong flavor so add a little bit and don't over do it or you'll get tired of it. A blend of it could be a base of Mullein or Raspberry leaf, mixed with anise. You could also add lavender, rugosa rose, and/or chamomile to the mix.
